I have gotten counseling in several different surrounding states and nothing seemed to help until now. Sometimes counseling, when I wasn’t ready, only made it worse, and over time I became even more upset than when I had started. What really helped me was the “getting ready” part.

Sometimes Rene goes way out there. And then I figure out that he really is meeting me halfway.

My high school age son really likes the meetings. He has never done that before and we’re finally getting him ready for college instead of getting ourselves ready to visit him in jail.
